Accessibility Statement
Sushi Ninja is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including guests with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to browse our menus, find our locations, and get in touch with us.
Our Standard
We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines are the internationally recognised standard for making web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Current Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to resolve the remaining items listed below.
What We Have Done
- Reviewed every page against WCAG 2.2 Level AA
- Added descriptive alternative text to images
- Corrected heading structure so the site can be navigated by headings
- Improved link and button labels so their purpose is clear
- Ensured the site can be operated using a keyboard alone
- Added clearly visible focus indicators for keyboard users
- Adjusted colour contrast for readability
- Improved compatibility with screen readers
- Added a site map so pages can be found in more than one way
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas that do not yet meet our target standard:
- PDF menus. Some of our menus are currently published as PDF documents that are not fully accessible to screen readers. We are in the process of republishing all menus as accessible web pages. In the meantime, please call us and a member of our team will be glad to read the menu to you or answer any questions.
- Third-party content. Some features on this site are provided by outside services, including our website platform and online ordering partners. We do not control the accessibility of that content, but we raise issues with those providers when we find them.

Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review the site when we publish new content and work to resolve issues as they are identified.
